From U Haselhorst station, take bus M36 and get off at Kleine Eiswerderstr. stop, then walk about 9 minutes for 650 meters.

Entry to events at Backsteinboot is budgeted for sustainability and adaptability, is free or donation-based.
Pets
There are two cats at Backsteinboot, who are to be respected. Regarding related allergies, please feel free to contact us at the provided email address or phone number.
Pets that are cat-friendly and respectful of this environment and all its entities are welcome.
Mobility
The two nearest stations, Berlin-Spandau and U Haselhorst, have elevators. From Berlin-Spandau, take the bus to the Eiswerderstr. stop, 800 meters from Backsteinboot, and cross a long bridge with a slope. From U Haselhorst, take the bus to the Kleine Eiswerderstr. stop, 650 meters from Backsteinboot, and cross a small bridge without a slope.
There is no specialized parking on Insel Campus EISWERDER. A parking space can be reserved in advance if necessary.
The private area of the island, Insel Campus EISWERDER, is almost entirely paved outside. The public area of the island is suitable for walking. It is possible to take the walking path around the island and enter the Insel Campus EISWERDER through the small fenced gate to the south. However, there is a ledge that poses an obstacle, and this entrance is not always open.
Inside, the floor of Backsteinboot is covered with polished concrete.
Backsteinboot is served by a freight elevator from entrance F, which can be made available.
The space is located on the top floor (3rd floor) of an industrial building with high ceilings. Climbing the staircases requires some effort.
Backsteinboot and the Insel Campus EISWERDER do not have specialized restrooms. However, a large sanitary area can be provided,
located in the northern part of the top floor of the building, the area occupied by Raum für Kunst e.V.
The entrance doors of Backsteinboot can be difficult to open.
Seating and resting furniture can be provided.
If needed, please feel free to contact us at the provided email address or phone number.

Upon request, Backsteinboot promises to do its best to offer active assistance by organizing guided tours, tactile or audio descriptions, as well as translations into sign language, audio language, braille, or easy language.
